MDLand Receives NCQA Measure Certification™ for HEDIS® Measure

New York, NY – MDLand, the leading innovative digital health company based in New York City seeking to continue improving patient outcomes by tracking data and clinical measures while reducing healthcare costs, has received NCQA Measure Certification for HEDIS® MY2020. MDLand’s powerful iClinic® EHR and its Population Health Platform utilizes the latest big-data and advanced analytics to aggregate patient data across multiple health information technology sources, where analysis of such data can be used for closing care gaps and improving outcomes.

The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) is a national organization dedicated to improving health care quality through the administration of evidence-based standards, measures, programs, and accreditation. More than 191 million people are enrolled in plans that report HEDIS results, making HEDIS one of health care's most widely used performance improvement tools. NCQA’s HEDIS Certification requires vendors to certify each year to ensure compliance with the most current HEDIS® specifications and the NCQA seal is a widely recognized seal of quality, indicative of organizations that have undergone the industry’s most rigorous assessment, demonstrating accuracy, and ensuring data integrity.

With such being said, MDLand looks to better help providers and provider organizations in becoming more efficient, to reduce physician burden while improving quality measures as health plans, provider organizations and physicians rely on accurate data to make decisions. MDLand’s achievement in certification of the ten most common HEDIS® measures serves to demonstrate the integrity of its software and MDLand’s focus and dedication to help physicians and physician organizations to improve their clinical quality management. In addition, MDLand seeks to empower healthcare providers to track their HEDIS® performance, identify care gaps, and implement intervention to enable proactive provider patient engagement to ultimately improve the health of the communities in which they reside in.
