MDLand Stays Compliant to Support the New Worker’s Compensation Form
MDLand has successfully met the July 1st deadline in releasing the first version of the conversion of the Workers’ Compensation Board C-4 and C-4.2 forms to the CMS-1500 form with pending validations. In staying compliant, MDLand looks to support and do its part in the Workers’ Compensation Board’s conversion of the Doctor’s Initial Report (Forms C-4) and the Doctor’s Progress Report (Forms C-4.2) to the CMS-1500 form. With the conversion, MDLand seeks to further streamline the electronic medical record and medical billing process and reduce the paperwork requirements currently in the workers’ compensation system. MDLand looks to increase health care provider participation in the workers' compensation system and improve injured workers' access to timely, quality medical care.

Our Reflection on the Anniversary of the COVID Pandemic
This week marks a year since the declaration of the COVID pandemic. With our healthcare providers and organizations tackling the lethal coronavirus on the frontlines to protect our community, we are now hopeful as we begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel. MDLand takes pride in our commitment and shared responsibility to support our healthcare providers and organizational customers in having administered over 150,000 vaccine dosages for over 100,000 patients in our health IT platform on the eve of the anniversary.
MDLand Attends CCACO’s Press Conference Announcing $5.1 Million in Shared Savings
It is with much excitement that MDLand attended CCACO’s press conference on Thursday, December 12, 2019 announcing that the ACO has earned $5.1 million in shared savings through the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP). This is the fourth consecutive year CCACO has earned shared savings and is ranked 2nd out of 39 ACOs in New York State, and 6th out of all 548 ACOs nationwide in 2019.
We value the partnership and relationship we have with CCACO and look forward in continuing to support CCACO in its growth and future successes. Sharing the mutual goals in improving care coordination, and extending high quality care and improved patient outcomes, MDLand works to support the goal to ensure that patients get the right care at the right time, while preventing medical errors and avoiding unnecessary duplication of services. ACOs that meet performance standards on quality of care are eligible to share in generated savings as performance-based bonus payments. MDLand’s iClinic EHR assists CCACO and its providers in maximizing these savings.
